To all my amazing sponsors,
Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. It literally brings tears to my eyes to see how many companies are helping me to help these military families!. I selected Military families because there are so many that work so hard, have to leave their family, and just don't make enough money, but they continue to do what this country needs most. Defending. They are not jobless, they are putting food on the table for their families, but they need help with bringing in a new life to their home and to be honest the Mamas need a little pampering too. Most are away from their families when they have a baby and have very little to no support. We all know how difficult it can be. I would also love to receive any informative literature I can give these Mamas if you can send it. From pregnancy to childbirth through the first year. Right now the things I need most are:
Crib bedding sets
Diapers
Wipes
Bottles
Birth/Postpardum kits for mamas
Baby Memory Books
Diaper Bags
Clothes( gently used would be great as well)
Educational literature
Baby toys/Books
Bassinets/Cribs(gently used again)
Local catering/decor for shower events
Shower Boxes (Big)
Baskets for packaging
Anything!
I am also teaming up with Tuomey Childbirth Educator and Local community programs that will help these military families with home visits as well. I am presentlly helping families here at Shaw Air Force Base also home to 3rd Army Headquarters. I plan to branch out to Fort Jackson, Camp Lejune, Paris Island, and any others I am physically able. I need all the help I can get from sponsors and volunteers. No one can do it alone. I am just a military wife/mom who wants to help out. I am not yet a non profit I need to find out legalities of working with the military as one. It may just be easier to stay a volunteer.I really feel as this blog will not only help our Military families but help these amazing businesses as well. It's about helping each other. Please comment on the blog and spread the word. Thanks again for loving our military families as much as I do.
Love You All,
Melissa Revel
